It's been fun starting to learn some of the culture/dialect differences and I'm sure it will continue to be pretty hysterical and interesting for the next couple months while I get things figured out. So, at the moment it's winter here, which isn't as cold as it gets back home. BUT, since it's been so warm this summer at home I'm constantly chilled here. The houses aren't heated like in the U.S. so you just have to layer to stay warm. So, as you can imagine I'm cold all the time right now, so I'll be drinking plenty of hot tea for the next while to try and stay warm. But, actually when I was on my run this morning it's really the wind that bothered my body the most, the wind is just so cold.
At the moment I'm listening to small voices singing downstairs. The Mum of the family I'm staying with gives piano lessons and then leads a home school choir and it's filled with little ones. So cute, love their little accents! Right now their singing a cute song about kangaroos.
